Wayne Strickland

Wayne Strickland, 53, of McGehee, Ark. died Friday, July 20, 2012. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ben White officiating. Burial will be at Trafalgar Cemetery. Wayne was born in Lake Village, Ark. on July 4, 1959. He was a truck driver for many years and he loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Strickland. Survivors include his mother, Pauline Cater of McGehee, Ark.; father, B. W. Strickland also of McGehee, Ark.; son, Mitchell Strickland of Hot Springs, Ark.; brothers, Danny Strickland of McGehee, Ark. and Michael Strickland of Dermott, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews.
