William Vann "Bill" Richards

WILLIAM VANN "BILL" RICHARDS, 87, of Little Rock, passed away July 19, 2012. He was born April 1, 1925 in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Bess Richards; his wife, Kathleen Elise Richards; a daughter, Cindy E. Rogers; and a sister, Madolyn Richards. He is survived by four children, William Vann "Richy" Richards Jr. of Diamond City, Ark., Judy A. Cooper of Keller, Texas, Steven Richards of Greenbrier, and Nancy J. Welch of Madison, Miss.; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Richards served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and retired from the Air Force Reserve after 20 years service. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas (Class of 1949) and was a Kappa Sigma member. Mr. Richards was a Real Estate Broker in Pulaski and Saline Counties for more than 55 years and owner of Richard's Reality for 50 years. He was active in the Wolf Street Foundation and was past president of Serenity Park. He was of the Presbyterian Faith and loved fishing and hunting with his sons. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wolf Street Foundation, P.O.
