Denver Lee Ezell, II "Denny" left this world too soon on July 20, 2012. Denny was first a fiercely devoted daddy to his four beautiful babies: Gabby, Brooklyn, Denver III, and Sam. As a children's minister at Pine Baptist Church in Pine, La., he touched young lives through his passionate devotion to always being "real" and "living in the light." A talented musician, Denny wrote many songs and the theme was always the same: love. Anyone who knew Denny for even a short time would attest to his infectious love of life and caring heart for everyone. His heart was pure gold, and the laughter and joy that radiated from him will live on in those he knew forever. Denny left us too soon. There is no doubt about that, but his impact on this earth is worth many lifetimes. May each of us find a way to live just one day the way he lived all of his. Denny's beautiful spirit lives on in his wife, Jennifer; his daughters, Gabby and Brooklyn; two sons, Denver III and Sam; his mother, Barbara Curtis; father, Denver Ezell; brother, Dustin Ezell; stepfather, Gerald Curtis; sisters, Ciara and Kami Curtis along with countless extended family and friends. Few people leave this earth so assured of an eternal legacy, but what Denny left in each of us will surely live on for generations and this world is a better place for being blessed with him for 32 short years. A celebration of his life will be held at Indian Hills Church in North Little Rock on Saturday, July 28th, at 2 p.m. Please wear bright clothes and bring your fondest memory of Denny. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send any memorial funds to: Pine First Baptist Church, 27043 Hwy. 62, Franklinton, La. 70438.
