Robert Lynn Sandlin

Robert Lynn Sandlin, 62, of Cabot, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2012. He was born April 1, 1950 in Dumas. Robert was loved by all who knew him. He was a loyal friend and a wonderful father and grandfather. He was married over 40 years to Karyl Ann Sandlin, who passed away earlier this year on June 2, 2012. Robert and Karyl loved each other with all their hearts. He was the absolute center of his wife's world and now they are together forever in heaven. He was a veteran in the United States Navy and was a tow boat Captain. In addition to his wife, Karyl, Mr. Sandlin was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Sandlin. Mr. Sandlin leaves behind his mother, Dorothy McMillon Carter; four children, Michele Bynum and her husband, Leah, Robert Sandlin Jr., Sandy Fiser, all of Cabot and Danny Sandlin of Little Rock, as well as seven grandchildren, Megan King, Kayleigh Bynum, Caleb Bynum, Dylan Westerman, Ashlyn Westerman, Bryce Fiser and Olivia Saige Sandlin. Robert is also survived by his five siblings, Linda Gwen Thomas, Dan Michael Sandlin, Preston Ray Sandlin, Larry Dean Sandlin, and Douglas Wayne Sandlin. Robert will be missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 25 at the funeral home, with burial following in Mt.
