Charles "Andy" Curtis

Charles Andrew "Andy" Curtis, 95, of Bryant died July 22, 2012 in the home of his son, Charles Jeffrey "Jeff" Curtis (deceased), and daughter-in-law, Sondra Haile Curtis. Born September 3, 1916 to John Anderson and Jeffie Howard Curtis in Paron, Arkansas, Andy was one of nine children, all deceased, (Kelso; Eunice Jackson; Allen; Don; Ed; Andy; Rosa Lee Rickard; and Ellene Lancaster). Married to Jimmye Raye Ramsey in 1944, they had one son and three grandchildren: Keith Moore, Jordan Alexandra Curtis Sherrod, and Susan Elisabeth Curtis. Andy was a long-time member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church. His family is ever grateful to the Baptist Hospice nurses and aide; and to his friend and companion, Rose Scott and her daughter, Kim Cupples. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Moore, Jordan Sherrod, Mikal Childers, Heath Cupples and Dwight Cupples.
