Peggy Jordan Teeter

Peggy Jordan Teeter, age 75, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away June 24, 2012. She was born December 2, 1937, daughter of George and Opal Jordan. Peggy attended Scott High School, and later joined the US Army. While serving in the Army, she was trained as a nurse and worked in that capacity for several years. Later, she continued her service in the National Guard and worked as a prison guard at Leavenworth Prison. Peggie was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Teeter and son, Gregory Teeter. Survivors include one son, Mark Teeter (Lisa), two brothers; Joe Jordan (Nadine) of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Danny Jordan (Jeanie) of Largo, Fla., and one sister, Tena Jordan Johnson (Orelan) of England, Ark. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society (Breast Cancer Research).
