Ruth Inez Brannon

Ruth Inez Brannon, 92 of Little Rock, AR went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 21, 2012. She was born July 6, 1920 in Mulberry AR to John and Sarah Sumner. Ruth had a strong faith in God and loved her family and friends dearly. She expressed her love by serving others endlessly. She had a smile that would light up the world, and her cooking warmed not only your belly but your heart. She worked at Hank's Dog House for 50 years where she met many wonderful people who became lifelong friends. She is survived by her son, Ted Brannon and wife Beverly, and daughter Cynthia and husband Steve Wilburn. Her grandchildren are Chad Wilburn and wife Darcy, Coy Wilburn, Berkeley and husband Tad Lumpkin, Taylor Brannon, Whitney and husband Nathan Marcotte. She is also survived by her sister, Hazel Penrod and many nieces and nephews. Her pallbearers will be her son, Ted Brannon, son-in-law, Steve Wilburn, and grandsons, Chad and Coy Wilburn, Taylor Brannon, and Nathan Marcotte. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25 at Griffin-Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home in Alexander, Ark. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 26 at Griffin-Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, Alexander, Ark. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
