Charles Ray Bogue

Charles Ray Bogue of Greenville, S.C. died July 14, 2012. He was born on May 31, 1932 in Haileyville, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sue Matlock, of Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Jane Bogue of the home, ex-wife Marynell Bogue of North Little Rock, his son, Charles Ray Bogue II (Kathy) of Virginia, and his daughter, Jeannine Marie Rodgers of Greenville, a sister, Diane Matlock (Skip) of Maplewood, Mo., a brother, Daniel Bogue of Orlando, Florida, grandchildren Patrick Bogue, Haley Bogue, Isaac Rodgers, Ian Rodgers and Jacob Rodgers, and several nieces and nephews. Charles served as a corpsman in the Navy during the Korean War. After graduating from the University of Missouri, he acted as manager of various chambers of commerce in Kansas, Oklahoma City, Enid, and the Oklahoma State Chamber. He also served 15 years as a project manager for ADED in Little Rock, and as Director of the New Castle/Henry County Economic Development Corporation in New Castle, Indiana. He later retired from Pepsico of Greenville, S.C. A graveside service was held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, SC, on Tuesday, July 17. Donations may be made to any Parkinson's or Alzheimer's support group.
