David Christopher "Chris" Neaves, 21, of Columbia,Md., passed away suddenly on July 21, 2012 of undetermined causes. His family is comforted by the fact that he knew Christ and is now in the presence and security of his Heavenly Father. He was born in Lewisville, Texas on June 29, 1991 to Lori and David Neaves of Ellicott City and moved with his family to Maryland in 2006 from Windsor, England. Chris graduated from high school at Chapelgate Christian Academy in Marriottsville and spent a year at Clemson University, in Clemson, South Carolina. He was currently working at Antwerpen Toyota, Clarksville and studying Biochemistry at Howard Community College. Chris lived a full life during his short time with his family. He lived in Windsor, England for 3 years with his family and attended TASIS American school while there. He loved to snow ski and fly fish at Copper Mountain, Colo. and one of the highlights of his life was when his band played at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C. He had a heart for missions, particularly the children of Guatemala. Chris is survived by his parents, David and Lori Holman Neaves; and his sister, KatieAnne Neaves all of Ellicott City, Md. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Jack and Elizabeth Holman; and his paternal grandmother, Linda Neaves all of Little Rock, Atk. He is also survived by his aunt Terri Alpe; aunt and uncle, Heather and Todd Richardson and cousins, Nathan LeMay, Lauren LeMay, Joshua LeMay, and Nicholas Richardson; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Neaves formerly of Little Rock, Ark. Burial will take place at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark. on Saturday, July 28, at 10 a.m. Memorials can be made to Mephibosheth Foundation, 1991 Barley Road, Marriottsville, Md. 21104.
