Oneda Fincher Holden

Oneda Fincher Holden, 92, of Little Rock, formerly a long-time resident of Stephens, AR, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012. She was born on July 6, 1920 in Cheraw, Miss., the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Mary Davis Sartin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howell Fincher, and by her second husband, Lester Holden, two brothers, Davis and Jeff Sartin and two sisters, Katherine Thompson and Sue Oliver. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Thelnita Fincher of West Monroe, LA, her daughter, Joan Butler of Little Rock, two sisters, June Parrish, her twin sister, Ouida Hubbard, and a brother, Grover Sartin. She is also survived by grandchildren, Angey (Kabe) Lyons, Tim (Nino) Fincher, Kevin Butler, Kraig (April) Butler, and great grandchildren, Fletcher, Luke and Nate Lyons, Stephen and Phillip Fincher, Shelby and Hayden Butler, and many nieces and nephews. She was also greatly blessed to be a part of the family of her second husband, Lester Holden, and is survived by his children Darriel (Delbert) Scott, Carolyn Berry, Glen (Roseanna) Holden and Wayne Holden, their 11 children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, Ark. with visitation at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their gratitude and deep appreciation to the staff of the Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center on Bowman Road for their compassionate care during our mother's illness.
