Annie Lee Hamilton Parish

Annie Lee Hamilton Parish, 100, of Stamps died Tuesday, May 29, in Arkadelphia. She was born Feb. 26, 1912 in Coushatta, La. the daughter of the late Martha Edwards and Jim Hamilton. She was a homemaker and a member of Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Parish; brothers, Jim Hamilton and Robert Johnson; and son-in-law, Lewis Shepherd Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Rosie Lee Shepherd of Magnolia; grandchildren, Rubye (George) Johnson of Clifton Park, N.Y., Delores Tucker of Pittsburg, Calif., Beverly (Lawrence) Boyd of Daly City, Calif. and Lewis (Joyce) Shepherd of Arkadelphia; four great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 3 at 2 p.m. at the Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Harris officiating and Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd Jr. as Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Twenty Third Psalm Cemetery in Magnolia under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
