Glenda Faye Bogy

Glenda Faye Mayville Bogy stepped into the presence of the Lord on May 31, 2012, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 30, 1952, in Clarendon, Arkansas, to William Morton Mayville and Mabelle Son Mayville. Besides, her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Jewel Mayville; a sister, Francis Johnson; and her son, Joseph Ellis Hughey. Survivors are her husband, Phillip E. Bogy Jr.; son Phillip E. Bogy III (Haven) of Stuttgart; five sisters, Ann Kirchoff of Malvern, Dorothy Norwood (Ernie) of Clarendon, Mary Dickson (Dennis) of Vidor, Texas, Linda Hamner (William) of Brinkley and Penny Green (Mike) of Benton; one brother, William M. Mayville Jr. (Alice) of Clarendon; and three grandchildren, Caylee Ryan Bogy of DeWitt and Logan Gage Bogy and Olivia Hart Bogy of Stuttgart. Glenda was a member of Bayou Meto Assembly of God Church in Humphrey. She loved the Lord and just loved serving him in every area that she could be used. She was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed hunting with her husband and family. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Saturday at Bayou Meto Assembly of God Church, 1695 Alcorn-Gill Rd., Humphrey, with funeral services following at 2:30 p.m. also at the church. Burial will follow in Roc Roe Cemetery in Aberdeen by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to Bayou Meto Assembly of God Church, P.O.
