Rosemarie Barranco Kennedy Armstrong formerly of Greenwood, Mississippi passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her home in Mabelvale, Arkansas. She was born September 13, 1937 in Greenwood, Mississippi where she lived until moving to Mabelvale, Arkansas in 2008 with her husband. She owned and operated The Rivers' Inn Bed and Breakfast and Tasteful Touches Catering in Greenwood for many years. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard Armstrong; sister, Kathryn Barranco Sanderson of Seattle, Washington; daughters, Karen Kennedy of Brandon, Mississippi and Charlotte Gunter of Pontotoc, Mississippi; grandchildren, Kreslyn Hinton Hanlon and Jeff Hinton, Jr. of Madison, Mississippi; Rob Pickett, Grayson Pickett and Hayli Pickett Bostick of Pontotac, Mississippi; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Hinton of Madison, Mississippi; stepdaughters, Jason Bourassa of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Valerie Carr of St. Louis, Missouri and Claire Kampmann of Vettweiss, Germany; step-grandchildren, Jason Bourassa of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Jack, Max and Charlie Carr of St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood, Mississippi on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
