B.J. Bates, 33, of White Hall, died Saturday. Survivors: wife, Tonia Bates; sons, Dillon and Jaxon Bates; daughter, Truli Bates; mother and step-father, Sherry and Johnnie Baxter; father and step-mother, Billy and Teresa Bates; sisters, Tricia Schmidt and Nicole Williams Davis; brother, Ben Bates; and step-siblings, Jonathan Greer, Erin Weidemann, Erin Baxter, April Ryburn, Brandy Eason and Jason Ryburn.
