Teri Lashiel Mitchell

Teri Lashiel Mitchell of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 9, 1960 at Batesville, Arkansas, the daughter of Eleanor Chambers Mitchell and the late O.D. Mitchell. She was a 1978 graduate of Sheridan High School, and also served in the United States Navy for five years, and the Naval Reserves following that. She worked for Arkansas Workforce in Benton, enjoyed photography and loved animals, which led her to be a supporter of the Humane Society. Teri died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her home near Sheridan, at the age of 51. Survivors include her mother, Eleanor Chambers Mitchell of Sheridan; brother, Steven Mitchell and wife Lesa of Mountain View; sister, Toni Mitchell Poindexter and husband Dan of Little Rock; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
