Frank T. Mayton, 89, of Malvern passed away March 4, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born November 9, 1922 at Patmos, Arkansas the son of Cleve and Emma (Fambro) Mayton. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Aleutian Islands during WWII, and was a self-employed contractor for General Telephone for more than 40 years. He was a member of Keith Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife, Melva Smith Mayton; daughter, Betty Powell and husband, Dr. Nick Powell; grandchildren, Kathryn Vincent (Scott), and Lauren Land (Adam). Visitation is Tuesday, March 6th, 5-7 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern. Services will be Wednesday, March 7th, 11 a.m. in the Regency Chapel.
