Roy Wayne Cullins

Roy Wayne Cullins born March 16, 1935 in Malvern, Arkansas to Roy & Irene Cullins passed away March 4, 2012 at 11:25 p.m. at Cabot Nursing & Rehab. He is survived by his wife Lavonna Hornaday Cullins; two sons, Mike (Nancy) Cullins of Blanchard, Oklahoma and David (Anna) Cullins of Stephenville, Texas; three daughters, Karen (Bruce) Andrews of Cabot, Debbie (Jerry) Mann of Mt. View and Brenda (Tom) Lewis of Bradford; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanette Cullins Hornaday (Leo) of Eugene, Oregon. Mr. Cullins was affectionately known as "Bro. Wayne" by the members of the Baptist Churches he Pastored in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas for 35 years; After retiring he worked for Wal-Mart in Cabot for ten years as a greeter. Wayne & Lavonna were married 57 years ago February 19th in First Baptist Church of Gurdon. God has called home a faithful and loving servant! Our loss is Heaven's gain! He will be missed by family and friends, but always be in our hearts. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Cabot Nursing & Rehab for the care Wayne was given over the last year. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Cabot. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Cabot.
