Janet Marie Coley Spray

Mrs. Janet Marie Coley Spray, resident of the Woodruff County area, died on Thursday, March 1, 2012. She was 56 years of age. A memorial service will be held at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 6 p.m. Following the service, a reception for family and friends will be at the Lawhon Building in McCrory. Janet was born in McCrory at Dr. Millwee's Clinic on May 13, 1955 to Bobby and Shirley McNeely Coley. She was a graduate of McCrory High School was married to Randal Spray on June 26, 1975. Janet was an Area Medical Coordinator for the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. She was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church near McCrory for 27 years. Janet was a loving and devoted mother and attended every function that included her children, Brian and Jessica. In times past she was a member of the McCrory Ladies League and currently was a devoted supporter of the Woodruff County Animal Rescue Friends and fostered many animals who needed temporary homes. Arts, crafts, floral arrangements, and making jewelry were among the things she enjoyed. Even after a full day of work, she would never miss one of her children's activities, though it sometimes meant after one was over, racing to the next. Her family will miss her loving care, cheerful smile and infectious laughter. Survivors include her father, Bobby Coley of Flippin, husband, Randal Spray of McCrory, one son, Brian Spray and his fiancé Meredith Davies of Little Rock, one daughter, Jessica Spray of Jonesboro, three brothers, Gary Coley of Searcy, Tim Coley of Jonesboro, and Chris Coley and wife Terri of Morton as well as a host of other relatives and friends. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Animal Rescue Fund, c/o Rhondine Horton, P.O. Box 316, Augusta, Arkansas, 72006.
