Mary also served with the United Methodist Women organization. She was a model Christian wife and totally complemented Bill as God intended. Mary enjoyed playing bridge and entertaining. She was a great cook. When anyone in the family was sick, she was always available to take care of them. Bill and Mary lived in LaMarque, Texas. They were members of First United Methodist Church of La Marque over 50 years. They moved to Galveston to enjoy their golden years together.
