Walter Lawrence Henderson

Walter Lawrence Henderson, age 81, born May 5, 1930, died March 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife Martha Sue Henderson; children, Mike (Debbie) Henderson, Sandy (Billy) Swicegood and Bryan Henderson; siblings, Alva Choate, DeValls Bluff, Ruby Young, Little Rock, and Roy Vernon Henderson of Cabot; grandchildren, Beverly Frank, Jimmy Burris, Laura Wilkins, and Michael Henderson, seven great-grandchildren, five nieces, two nephews and a host of cousins. Preceding him in death, a son, Keith Henderson, father, Walter Henderson Sr., mother, Nora Saylor and step-father Al Saylor, and one sister, Nellie Engles. Walter loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors. The family would like to thank the VA Hospital Hospice floor 6E and CCU 5th floor. The Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
