Gary M. Brimer

After a short battle with leukemia Gary M Brimer, 64, of Benton went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 6th, he was born July 29, 1947 in Little Rock, son of the late Emmagene Brimer and his father Marshall Brimer. Gary was employed by Arkansas Refrigeration Company, Arkansas Central Mortuary, and had worked at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth in previous years. He never met a stranger he didn't like; and was an active member of Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Gary was active in Scout Troop #7. He is survived by the love of his life Brenda Brimer, his wife of 37 years, of Benton; his daughter Christina Brazeale, son-in-law Jesse Brazeale and grandson Jordan Webb who was his pride and joy of Sparkman; his beloved dog Dusty and many friends and family. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the funeral home. Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Bros. Bill Williams and Muncy Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas. We want to give special thanks to all the nurses on the tenth floor and the ICU nurses at Baptist Medical Center for taking such special care of him and who he grew to love.
