Clarence Franklin "Bill" Sisson, 55, of Conway died Thursday, March 8, 2012. He was born in Conway, Ark. on Aug. 13, 1956, a son of W.F. Bill Sisson and Robbie Jean Johnson Sisson. He was a faithful member of Brumley Baptist Church to which he pastored. Bill was a contractor by trade but his true calling was to shepherd the Lord's flock. He faithfully pastored many churches in the Faulkner County Baptist Association including Blaney Hill Baptist Church, Gold Creek Baptist Church, Youth Pastor of Harlan Park Baptist, and Brumley Baptist Church. His services included Prison, Jail, and Recovery Ministries. His passion was to share Christ with anyone through his many evangelistic opportunities and work on the mission field. Even to the very end he carried out The Great Commission. He was loved and respected by so many. He is survived by his mother Robbie Jean Johnson Sisson, children Jacob, Marlana, and Matthew, sister Shannon Lee Cree, sister in Christ Pat Nutter, and a host of beloved family members. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Lois Glover Sisson, father W.F. Bill Sisson, and brother Bobby Allen Sisson. Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Revered Gilbert Kendrick, Revered Billy Crow, and dear friend Curt Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Teddy Bishop, Tyler Louden, Harold Pray, Royce Ruple, Max Nelson, and Mike Ritchie as pallbearers. The men of Brumley Baptist, Tom Smith, and Ray Hieronymus will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, March 12, 2012. Memorials may be made to Brumley Baptist Building Fund or Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Oncology-Neurology Team of UAMS, Baptist Rehabilitation Therapy Center, and many friends and churches for their prayers.
