Ginger Hood Young
Ginger Hood Young, 74, of Allison, Ark., died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Arkansas Hospice St.Vincent Infirmary. Mrs. Young was a secretary for the Department of Human Services in Vicksburg, Miss. and was as a member of Sylamore Baptist Church in Mountain View, Ark. Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, Warren Gene Young of Mt. View, Ark.; three daughters, Sallye Hill of Wynne, Ark., Lori Hooks of Bryant, Ark., and Stacey Lancaster of Trenton, Tenn.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Josh (April) Jake, Trevor, Emma Grace Pagan, Chase (Dawneen) Dylan Pagan, Jessica Tatum, Kana (Cullen) Karson and Cayson Williams, PFC John Andrew (Amy) Ledbetter; three sisters, Hyacinth Hood Jenkins of Leslie, Ark., Imogene Hood Hawley of Little Rock, Ark., and Barbara Hood of Louisville, Ky.; and one brother, Ronald Hood of Earle, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hyacinth Borton and Clarence Robert Hood; two sisters, Dora Hood Dupslaff and Harriett Hood Bonds; two brothers, C. R. Hood Jr. and Paul Hood.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with services following at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Ark. following the services.
