KAYE LEE DENNY went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 9, 2012. She lived a good life for 75 years while loving so many and impacting everyone she came to know. Her passion for life was her God, and her boys; as she lived to serve them both. However, later in life her grandkids stole a big piece of her heart. Her wit and dry humor will be missed by all. She was an inspiration to anyone she was around as she called everyone out to trust God and to accomplish the things that were on their hearts. Kaye was born Jan. 23, 1937 in Little Rock, Ark. to Emmett and Norene Phillips. She was raised in Little Rock and graduated from Central High School in 1955. She remained in the metro area, raising her four boys in North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Phillips; step father, William Taylor and twin sister Faye Lee. Cherishing her memory are her mother, Norene Taylor of San Diego, Calif., (whom she spoke with every evening;, her sister, Barbara Jacobs of Houston, Texas; her brother, Dewayne Taylor of San Diego, Calif.;, her kids, Wesley Pollnow, David Denny, Norman and Ann Denny, Phillip Denny, and Timmy Denny; her grandchildren, Christopher Denny, Sara Kaye Denny, Jennifer Denny, Dru Denny, Erica Denny, Meghan Denny, and Angelina Denny; her Aunt Gloria Tyson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Fellowship North located at No. 1 E. 52nd Place in North Little Rock, Ark., Dr. Craig Loibner will be officiating. Following the service, burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park. You may visit with family and friends from 6-8 on Monday evening March 12 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117. The family would like to express our never ending gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and care givers at St. Vincent's Hospital and Hospice Home Care for their never ending love and care for our mom -- you make a difference for so many patients and their families.
