IMOGENE BRIDGES, 95, of Little Rock, formerly of Plainview died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born July 4, 1916 in Plainview, Ark. to Barbra Allen and Ola Breashears Leach. She was a homemaker and farmer and a member of Plainview United Methodist Church. For many years she was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Dale Bridges and son, Bill Bridges. Survivors include three children, Virginia Zank and husband Dale of Branson, Mo., Bob Bridges and wife Ann of Little Rock, Judy Chastain and husband Charles of Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Cindy Kugel and partner Jeff Dalrymple of Siloam Springs, Missy Couch and husband James of Siloam Springs, Matthew Bridges and wife Ann of Richmond, Va., Sara Chastain of Little Rock, Amy Bridges of Washington, DC, Heather Xayavongsa and husband Luck of Fort Smith, Chris Bridges of Fort Smith; five great-grandchildren, Lydara Couch of Siloam Springs, Kane Xayavongsa of Fort Smith, Nathan Bridges and Madeleine Bridges of Richmond, Va., Damon Bridges of Fort Smith; one sister, Ernestine Barry of Morrilton and a brother-in-law, Lamar Bridges of Little Rock. Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Plainview United Methodist Church. Reverend Tom Mullins will officiate. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery near Plainview, Ark. by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
