Norma Sue Bridges, 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was born December 12, 1928 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late James S. and Emma (Price) Roberts. Norma Sue was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church and served as the President of the Alligator Farm. She was devoted to her family, spoiling them; and always there for her children and grandchildren. She was the true coach's wife and having played basketball herself, loved watching her children playing basketball and traveling to games with them. She was always their Number One Fan and supported her sons, as they coached the game she loved. Norma Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Chick and Corinne Roberts and sisters, Sally Beck and Estell Ann Crane. She is survived by the love of her life, husband of 61 years, Jack Bridges; sons, Jamie Bridges (Suzy) of Hot Springs; Joe Bridges (Ceil) of Magnolia; Jerry Bridges (Lori) of Cabot; daughter, Susan Fratesi (Rocky) of Mt. Home; brother, Gene Roberts (Rita) of Tulsa; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m., Thursday with Bro. Stacy Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jamie Bridges, Joe Bridges, Jerry Bridges, Blake Bridges, Jack Michael Bridges and Brian Bridges. Honorary pallbearers include Don Bridges, Lucille McCroskey, Rocky Fratesi, Bobby Darby, Dr. James Eastburn and Dr. Tim English.
