Jerry Don Caple

Jerry Don Caple of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 14, 1936 in the Belfast Community, the son of the late Radford and Anna Lee Mooney Caple. He was a member and Deacon at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where he loved to serve His Lord. He had retired from Gaylord and had served in the Army. He had a passion for crappie fishing, spending time at the lake house and being with his family. Mr. Caple passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at his home at the age of 75. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Caple, brothers, Johnny Caple, Pete Caple and Jody Caple. Survivors: wife of 51 years, Anna Sue Barnes Caple of Sheridan; Son, Juan and wife Lynn Caple of Sheridan; Daughter, Donna and husband Paul Golden of Malvern; Brothers, Clayton and wife Carolyn Caple of East End; Thomas and wife Betty Caple of Sheridan; Sister, Joyce Felts of Sheridan; Grandchildren, Jon Whitt Golden, Grant Golden, Colton Caple and Cassidy Caple as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Terry Williams and Bro. William Ashcraft officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be The Deacons of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Pittman and Darrell and Donna Lemons and family.
