Wanda Lee Taylor

Wanda Lee Taylor, 77, of Little Rock, passed peacefully from this life March 13, 2012 with her family by her bedside. She was born April 24, 1934 in Fouke, Ark., the daughter of Jettie Malvin and Mildred Davis. Mrs. Taylor was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the Triune Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a wonderful friend. One of her biggest joys was cooking Sunday lunch for her family and having them all together for the afternoon. She was an accomplished seamstress and owned her own drapery business for many years. She is survived by her husband Olen Taylor of Little Rock; one son, Anthony Taylor (Michelle) of Hot Springs; one daughter, Diane Taylor Carroll of Little Rock; a godson, Jim Elliott of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Lori Binz Switzer (Bryce) of Little Rock, Kristin Binz Bredensteiner (Josh) of Cabot, Alex Carroll of Little Rock, Robert Taylor of Hot Springs; five great-grandchildren, Josie, Ella and Bryleigh Switzer of Little Rock, and Stephen and Carson Bredensteiner of Cabot; two sisters, Naomi Etheridge of Fouke and Agnes (David) Cross of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Betty Miller of Magnolia, and Pat (Bob) Maza of Hot Springs; a host of nieces and nephews, and many special friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Harmony United Methodist Church in Rocky Mound Community, Arkansas at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 15 with burial following at the Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until service time at the Harmony United Methodist Church. There will be a celebration of her life held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock on Saturday, March 24, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Betsy Snyder officiating.
