Veda Beatrice Hansen

Veda Beatrice Hansen, 94, Chidester, born January 14, 1918 in Reader, Ark. to Emmett and Norvell McWilliams Billinsgley, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her home. She sold Avon for over30 years and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Hansen; son, Emmett Lambert; and son-in-law, Carl French. Veda is survived by five daughters; Mary French from Hensely, Ark., Connie (Charles) Fowler Sr. of Chidester, Ark., Bonnie (Max) McGrew of Amity, Ark., Rhonda (Thomas) Garcia of Camden, Ark., and Wanda Smith of Camden, Ark. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 59 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m,. on Monday, March 19, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1655 California Avenue, Camden, AR. Service will start at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery under the direction of Arkansas Funeral Care. Family and friends will be at 111 Ouachita 476 after the burial.
