Erma Marcene Owens

Erma Marcene Owens, age 83, of Cabot went to be with her Lord Friday, March 16, 2012. She was born Aug. 22, 1928 in Oilton, Okla. to the late William Odie Bevel and Ona Lee Summers Bevel. She was a member of Oak Grove First Baptist Church and she was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Terry Hill, Alan Guy Owens and his wife Janet, Pamela Faye Owens Farley and her husband Mike, Larry Wayne Owens; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by the father of her children, Guy Owens and his wife Pat of Idabel, Okla.; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be Alan Guy Owens, Larry Wayne Owens, Mike Farley, Schan Folsom-Hill, Brian Alan Owens, and Elijah Lee Owens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. at Oak Grove First Baptist Church in Cabot with Brother Matt Caton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
