Maxine Bowles

MAXINE BOWLES of Little Rock, Ark., born Feb. 16, 1932, joined her Savior; husband, John Bowles; sister Mary Whitwell; and granddaughter, Ellen Francis in heaven on March 16, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Richard Broadaway and Mabel Kellogg from Solgohachia, Ark. Maxine was a faithful member of her bible study at The Church at Rock Creek. She is survived by her two daughters, Jane Bowles and Julia (Robert) Short; her three grandchildren, Mary Anne Struthers, John Short, and Jenny Gibbs; and her two siblings, Chuck Broadaway and Nita Robinson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today ( Monday), March 19 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, (501) 661-9111. Funeral services will be 10 a.m.Tuesday March 20 in the Griffin Leggett Chapel. Following service, family and friends are welcome to gather at 2405 Leslie Dr. Alexander, Ark. 72002.
