Mary Louise Johnson

Mary Louise (Corker) Johnson, age 78, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was born May 26, 1933 in Vick, Arkansas to the late William Booker Corker and Rosa Lee Corker. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Lee Corker, James L. Corker, grandchildren, Victor, and Phillip McCormick. She was a devoted member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1974. She served Jacksonville, North Little Rock, and Little Rock City Council. She held a Masters Degree and was a preceptor the honors she received were Valentine's Queen, Order of the Rose, Silver Circle, she was past president of Little Rock City Council and she served all chapter offices. She is survived by her husband, Charles C. Johnson of Jacksonville, daughter, Brynda Lynn McCormick of Sherwood, a son, Chucky Moore of Pulaski County, three grandchildren; Mary McCormick, Korde Moore, Jareth Moore, a sister, Sarah Corker Hogan and husband Howard, two great-grandchildren, Cadence and Rudy Miller. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136 with Bro. Ben Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock.
