Ray Rhodes of England, Ark. departed this life on Thursday March 15, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Green Rhodes; father, Joe T. Rhodes Jr., mother, Beatrice Bradley Rhodes; sisters, Mercedee Rhodes Brooks and Janet Rhodes; brothers, Bruce Edward, Reginald and Joseph L. Rhodes. He is survived by one child Ashley Rhodes Reed (Harold) of Lonoke, Ark.; brothers, Arthur L. Rhodes (Jeanetta) and Joe E. Rhodes (Joyce) of England, Ark.; sisters, Josephine Rhodes Bowden William) Jacksonville, Fla. and Virginia Rhodes Taylor (Elton) of Marshall, Texas; Uncle Curtis Ware of Omaha, Neb. special friend and companion, Sharon Jones of Little Rock, Ark.; grandchildren, Jalen Kirk and Zoie Joyce Reed. Funeral services will be Saturday March 24, 2012, 11 am at St. John Baptist Church 2501 Main St. Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be Friday March 23, 2012 from 1 til 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
