Reda Darlene Hagood

Reda Darlene Hagood, 67, of Eudora, Ark. passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. Mrs. Hagood was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as treasurer and served many years on the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Association. She was a bookkeeper for several individuals and businesses. She was a long time employee for Attorneys Bob Cashion, WK Grubbs, Bob Avery and M&I Electrical Company. She was born to the late Felton and Lorece Hendrix Johnson on October 5, 1944 in Portland, Ark. Mrs. Hagood is survived by her husband, Garlan Hagood of Eudora, two sons; Todd Hagood and Jeramy Hagood both of Eudora, one daughter, Pam Harper (Ray)of Crossett, four brothers; Buddy Johnson (Diane) of Pine Bluff, Joe Johnson (Margie) of Eudora, Johnny Johnson (Bonnie) of Pennsylvania, and Richard Johnson (Treva) of Crossett, seven sisters; Barbara Hillman of Eudora, Kathy Cain (Ernie) of Tyler, Texas, Elsie Taylor (Dean) of Eudora, Kay Morman (Garry) of Oak Grove, La., Eva Dalton (Don) of Eudora, Penny Byrd (Michael) of Oak Grove, La., and Brenda Verser (Mike) of Caddo Gap, Ark., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Mrs. Hagood will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Eudora 10 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in Eudora. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
