Robert Rush

Robert Rush, 57, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, March 18th, 2012 at the John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital, surrounded by his family. Robert fought a heroic battle against lung failure and held on long enough to say all of his goodbyes. Robert will be greatly missed by all of us. Robert served as a staff sergeant in the Armored Corp of the United States Army, having been stationed in Korea and Germany. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Mosser Rush. Leaving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 22 years, Rita Loyd Rush; two sons, George Hartje (Jackie) and Jonathan Hartje (Amber) all of Tacoma, Washington; father, William Rush of Lynn Haven, Florida; three sisters, Reine Rush of Hanover, Maryland, Rebecca Berry (Dennis) of Bryant, Arkansas and Linda Olsen of Utah; and a host of friends and other relatives. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. (501) 835-3515.
