Jackson E. Greene, 84, of Cabot, formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on March 21, 2012. Jack was born on October 7, 1927 in Little Rock. He grew up in North Little Rock, graduating from North Little Rock High School. He entered the Army Air Corp in 1945 and honorably discharged in 1947. His business career consisted of 13 years in electrical wholesaling and 45 years of representing electrical manufacturers. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn and four loving daughters, Gail Judd (husband Bruce), Ann Kemp (husband Hal), Debra Rainey (husband Gary), and Deanna Nance-Evans (husband Micah); 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, William E. Greene, and sister, Marilyn Savage. Many things can be said of Jack. He was a loving and faithful husband, a lovin father to his daughters and grandchildren. Jack was an inspiration to all who knew him. Jack was an honest businessman who never put making money ahead of his personal integrity. Jack was a "people person" who loved to talk but also listened keenly to others. Jack always put others ahead of himself and was extremely humble. He valued and lived by his Christian principles and always believed people deserved a second chance. Jack will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012, with Reverend Hart Moore as officiating minister. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
