Rolyn Charles Hall, Sr.

Rolyn Charles Hall, Sr., 76, of Jacksonville died Thursday, March 22, 2012. He was born January 8, 1936 in Ontario, Oregon to the late Roscoe C. and Itol Hall. Mr. Hall served in the U.S. Army and was a surveyor for the California Bureau of Land Management. In the late 1960's Mr. Hall served as a volunteer firefighter for the Sylvan Hills Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and will be remembered as a vivid story teller. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his sons, Elona Lois Hall and his second wife, Louise Agnos Hall as well as a brother, George Hall. Mr. Hall is survived by two sons, Rolyn Charles Hall, Jr. and his wife Kim of Vilonia and Larry Joseph Hall of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Makensie, Aiden and Haley Hall; one brother, Gary Hall of Salinas, California and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service is being planned for a later date under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home and Crematory (501) 982-2136.
