Wade Cooper Meeks Jr.

WADE COOPER MEEKS JR., 61, who was born and resided in Little Rock, Ark. passed away March 22, 2012. He was born on Jan. 13, 1951 to the late Wade C. and Helen Burks Meeks. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Holly Pizan. He graduated from Little Rock Central High, class of 1969. He was retired from Wonder Bakery. Wade was an avid sports fan, especially the Yankees. He was also an animal lover of dogs and horses and leaves behind his playful puppy Pippin and horse Kasi. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Julie Meeks; his aunt, Beverlee Lyons; sister-in-law, Linda Lowe Caillouet and husband Karl; niece, Michelle Lowe Caillouet; son, Cooper Meeks and wife Pamela; step-son, Michael Pizan; three grandchildren, Sarah and Katherine Meeks and Nicholas Pizan; and many beloved cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
