Melanie Ann Wells

Melanie Ann Wells, age 53, of Morrilton, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. She was born June 6, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Charles F. Wells, M.D. and Donna Rose Dodge Wells. She was lovingly known as Mom, Mamaw, Meme, and friend to those who knew and loved her. She loved spending time with her daughter Tiffany and grandsons, Joseph and Jeremiah, who were her life. Melanie was a strong and courageous woman who battled much illness in her short life. She attended Morrilton High School, Arkansas College at Batesville, was an Insurance Clerk, and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Rose Bryant-Bradley, her husband Josh of Morrilton; sister, Dixie Leigh Wells Bahma, her husband Michael of Omaha, Nebraska; grandsons, Joseph and Jeremiah; former husband, Jimmy A. Bryant, his wife Rhonda S. Bryant, and their son, Alvie Bryant. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, March 30, at First Presbyterian Church in Morrilton with Rev. Frank LeBlanc officiating. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
