Ruth Mae Leonard

Ruth Mae Leonard, of Maumelle, Arkansas, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012. She was born September 20, 1921 in Batesville, Arkansas, to the late Coy and Myrtle Milligan Hynes. She retired from Wal-Mart Stores. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maumelle, and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Walbert Leonard, son-in-law Ed Henry, and granddaughter Trina Leonard. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Henry of Maumelle, Arkansas; son, Tommy Leonard of Perry, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Wendy Leonard of Perry, Georgia; granddaughters, Stephanie Hawley and Dena Roberts of Maumelle, Arkansas; grandson-in-law, David Hawley of Maumelle, Arkansas; great-grandchildren Jordan Romine, Jansen Romine, Lacey Roberts, Reagan Roberts, Davey Hawley, Ethan Hawley, and Carter Hawley all of Maumelle, Arkansas. Proverbs 31:28 – Her children rise up and call her blessed. She is loved so much and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Maumelle, with Brother Johnny Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
