Ruth Iona Louks

Ruth Iona Louks, age 88, of North Little Rock went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 26, 2012. She was the loving wife of Phillip Leslie Louks for 70 years. She was a faithful member of Park Place Baptist Church, where she served in early years in child care. Later she served as a greeter for the church. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Leslie; her sister, Jean Rankin; nephew, Gary Rankin and his wife, Monica of West Virginia; and niece, JoAnn and her husband, David Haustein of Beebe, Arkansas; two great-nieces, Heidi Hoggatt and her husband, Matt, and Steffany Landrum and her husband, Jacob; five great-great nephews and nieces, Hadyn, Harrison, and Hollis Hoggatt and Levi and Lydia Landrum. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116 with Reverend Gary Lambright officiating. Burial will follow at 12 noon at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
