Barry Lynn Partain

Barry Lynn Partain, 53, of Benton passed away on Sunday, March 25th, 2012. He was born on October 4, 1958 to the late Clarence and Allie Virginia (Kelso) Partain Shepherd in Sledge, Mississippi. Barry was a builder by trade and was gifted with a musical talent that included singing and playing the guitar and piano. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating and a good bonfire. He treasured his family and he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Gustavus and his granddaughter, Leeann Paulman. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Patricia; his daughters Laura (Robert) Miller, Ashley (Casey) Rush and Lindsey (fiance' Jeremy Price) Partain; his siblings Larry Taylor, Kelly (Nancy) Taylor, Jane (Jerry) Madden, Andy (Debbie) Partain, Ronnie (Barbara) Partain, Delane (Anne) Partain, Rodney (Nancy) Christian and Jimmy Christian; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kyle, Ty, Nicholas, Bailey, Xander and Conner and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 31st at Oak Hill Church of God, 97 SFC 309, Forrest City, Arkansas 72335, (870) 633-7331. Pastor William Witcher will officiate.
