Catherine Hoyle Pirtle

Catherine Hoyle Pirtle, age 96, of Moro Bay, Arkansas died Thursday, March 29, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, El Dorado, Ark. She was born September 29, 1915, at Banks, Arkansas a daughter of the late Charlie Hoyle and Etta Rowland Hoyle. She was a graduate of the Hermitage Public School System, was a member of the Moro Bay Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Hermitage School System. She married Ira E. "Jr." Pirtle on February 12, 1944 at Warren, Arkansas and he died May 9, 2011. She is survived by a godchild Karen Hickman Jones, Dallas, Tex; a very special friend Linda Sweeney, Moro Bay, Ark; five nephews and nine nieces. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Howell Hoyle, Mett Hoyle and Rowland Hoyle and 4 sisters Mable Bethea, Anna Breeding, Julia Martin and Dean Williams. Funeral services 10 a.m., Saturday, March 31, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Shady Grove Cemetery at Jersey, Ark by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
