Margaret Webb Stewart

Margaret Webb Stewart, age 85, of Gillett died Sunday, April 29, 2012. She was born September 29, 1926 in Hector to Lytle Edgar and Jennie Katherine Langford Webb. For many years she was a very active member of Gillett Methodist Church and taught home economics for 30 years at Gillett High School. Survivors inlcude her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Leslie Steen of Little Rock, grandson and wife, Jeb and Brooke Steen of Little Rock, granddaughters, Murry Steen of Fayetteville and Meagan Steen of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George Murry Stewart, her parents, brother, Roy Webb, Oxford, Miss., sisters: Ina May, Arkadelphia, Marie Stavely, Nashville, Virginia Kazzier, Houston, Texas, Betty Davis, Houston, Texas and Alline Walker, Camden. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 3rd, at Gillett Methodist Church with burial at Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt. Visitation will be 12:30 until time of service.
