Herman "Red" Brice Patton, 94, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012. Born in Winchester, Idaho, he retired from Solar/International Harvester in San Diego in 1976. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Cazort Patton of Little Rock; Lois (Gilpin, Patton) Jetmore former wife of Herman and mother of Dennis and Stanley Patton; sister, Barbara Borgeson, Boise, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Gail Patton (Dennis); son, Stanley B. Patton (Claudia); grandchildren, Tammy Patton (Greg Wilson), Dennis Duane Patton, Danielle (Lee) Barker, David (Tania) Patton, Phillip Patton; numerous great-grandchildren; and cousin Dan Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Clara Charlotte Patton; brothers Gorman, Gus, Morris, Jimmie, and sister, Chrystal Dammrose, and son Dennis Duane Patton. Many thanks to the good friends and family of Ruth Patton for their support and help in Herman's final years. The family will receive friends from 7: p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, (501) 224-8300. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 16th Section Cemetery, Austin, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
