Mary Lou Warrington

Mary Lou Warrington 85, of McGehee, Ark. passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Maumelle, Ark. Mrs. Warrington was born to the late George Washington and Lula Mae Songer Hefner on April 13, 1927 in Bono, Greene County, Ark. She was a member of South McGehee Baptist Church, a member of McGehee Garden Club and was actively involved with her husband in Shriners activities. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers, always working in the yard or decorating in her house. She also received yard of the month several times. Mrs. Warrington is preceded in death by her husband the late Pride D. Warrington; a son, Mickey Lindsey; two brothers, Robert Hefner and James Hefner; two sisters, Ollie Bowman and Gertrude Cupp. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Murr (Bobby) of Maumelle, Ark.; Sandra Lackey (Bennie) of Stuttgart, Ark.; and Phyllis McNeely (John M.) of McGehee, Ark.; one brother, Loyd Hefner of Bono, Ark.; two sisters, Maxine Powers of Walnut Ridge, Ark. and Eunice Smith of Wayne, Michigan; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 Friday, November 2, 2012 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be at 1pm Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Ed Balducci officiating. Burial will follow at Tillar Cemetery.
