Elder Thomas Clark, 79, of Little Rock ended his earthly journey on Monday, October 29, 2012. He was a family man who loved to fish and to have fun. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, earning an Honorable Discharge. Elder Clark had been a long-time member of New Calvary Temple Church of God in Christ. He had a knack for landscaping and pursued it for a living after his military service. It was landscaping that connected him with a life-long friend, Mr. Chip Murphy, for whom he served as gardener for and groundskeeper for many, many year. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth Clark. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jerry Clark (Sucondra); daughter, Tonya Clark; grandchildren, Quinton and Jayla Clark, and Carmen Augugbeum (Jorn); great-grands, Aidan Andrews and Brianna White; surrogate sons, Arric Price and Derrick Crawford; brothers, Robert Clark (Phyllis Tapp) and William Clark (Gerice); sister, Rosetta Clark; and very dear friends, Charles H."Chip" Murphy III, and his wife Cindy. Funeral services for Elder Clark will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 5, at New Calvary Temple COGIC, 1120 Bishop Lindsey Avenue, NLR. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
