John (Jack) Good

John (Jack) Good of Little Rock passed away on October 31, 2012. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 14, 1930 to Winnie and Sidney Good. He grew up in Pine Bluff and continued to reside there for 68 years, raising his family and running a local business. As a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church, he taught Sunday School for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Aubrey Good, and survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mardell. Other survivors who were dear to his heart were his sons John Jr. and Stephen, daughter, Kathleen Ederle, son-in-law, Walter Ederle, and granddaughters, Ashley and Mimi Ederle. The family would like to thank those who supported him through this journey: Drs. Delbra Caradine, Melanie Pilcher, Drew Kumpuris, and Dean Kumpuris, Caregiver Tanya Steen and special thanks to caregiver Bessie Hardaway. Bessie's devotion to "Mr. Jack" made it possible for his family to keep him at home. A memorial service will be held Sunday November 4, 2012 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Street. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Alzheimers, Lakeside United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, or the charity of your choice.
