Erma Bess Kimes

Erma Kimes, 89, of Little Rock died on November 3, 2012. Erma Bess Lane Kimes was born on February 8, 1923 to Troy and Ollie (Sparkman) Lane at Guy, Ark. She married Wenford Kimes of Blytheville, Ark. in South Carolina in 1944, he was a Army Veteran of WWII, and passed away in 1997. She was an active member of Central Church of Christ in Little Rock. Survivors include one niece and one nephew, as well as a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Elva Lee Moffett and brother in law Franklin Moffett. Funeral Services will be Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Guy Church of Christ in Guy, Ark. with Natt Kimes, Steve Kimes, Mike Harris, Gary Adams, Jeremy Barnard and Daniel Barnard serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 AM until time of service Wednesday at the church.
