Lucille H. Belote, 101, of Jacksonville died Saturday, November 3, 2012. She was born May 1, 1911 in Wooster, Arkansas to the late Ira L. and Georgia Kuykendoll Harmon. Mrs. Belote was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville for many years. She was a dedicated homemaker and loved to garden. The church, her family and her home were the most important things in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Belote; one son, James L. Belote; four brothers, Bun, Loy, Fred and Gus Harmon and a sister, Maxine Montgomery. Mrs. Belote is survived by a son, Fred H. Belote and his wife of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Belote, Rick Belote, Tina Reeves, Lisa Belote, Leslie Dunn and Cary Belote; 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Fay Belote of Mayflower. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with Brother Ron Riddle officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
